Loans and Collaborations
The different ways of working with us
Facilitating and supporting initiatives that promote Olympic culture and education on an international scale.
Every year, hundreds of Olympic-related projects are organised across the globe. We help those organising them to develop and create exhibitions, presentations, educational materials and events.
Do you need help with developing, creating or implementing your own programme? We can provide you with access to over 120 years of Olympic history, from IOC heritage to Olympic knowledge, resources and advice. We can share our expertise in Olympism and offer you bespoke or turnkey solutions. In light of the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games and depending on any specialised needs, please note that the research, heritage resource provision and contracting processes can take several months if your project is accepted (2 months approximately).
You can submit a request for Olympic posters, exhibitions (turnkey or virtual), objects, archives and Official films of the Olympic Games, as well as digital and educational resources. To find out more, please contact us via the form below.

Your questions answered
How do you submit a request?
In order for us to evaluate each request, any institution interested in obtaining a loan is kindly asked to complete the online contact form.
Detailed requests submitted in advance will be given additional consideration.
Who can request a loan?
We consider loan requests from public organisations and public services, particularly:
- Museums, archives, libraries, recognised cultural institutions and festivals
- Institutions that are part of the Olympic family
- Requests from private organisations are also considered on a case-by-case basis.
What criteria must be met?
All requests are evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
- Availability of the object(s)
- Alignment with the mission of the Olympic Museum
- State and stability of the object in the event that it requires transportation
- Transport, presentation and storage conditions envisaged by the user or borrower
Preparatory documents such as exhibition scenarios, installation reports, layout plans, descriptions of display cabinets and even project schedules allow us to better understand the project, assess whether it meets our criteria and put forward a range of solutions which best match the request.
