Coubertin's writings on the Olympic World Library
The Olympic Studies Centre (OSC) is releasing more than 200 articles and publications written by Pierre de Coubertin
Thanks to the digital collection made available by the Comité International Pierre de Coubertin, the OSC has published a new page on the Olympic World Library (OWL) containing more than 200 writings in digital version.
Pierre de Coubertin wrote around 16,000 printed pages, including 34 books, 57 brochures and 1,224 articles. However, it was his publications on the Olympic Movement (9% of his total writings) that made him a recognised author, particularly through the values of Olympism, the renovation of the Olympic Games and the development of sports organisations.
The page offers a search function, and users can also view the books on a timeline.
