The Olympic Museum will welcome the Musée des Arts Décoratifs for a landmark exhibition: "Fashion and Sport – From One Podium to Another". Curated by Sophie Lemahieu of MAD, this exhibition will feature over 250 items of clothing and accessories, offering a fascinating journey through the evolution of sportswear from the 1800s to today. It pays homage to the trailblazing fashion designers of the interwar years and examines the ever-growing influence of sport on contemporary fashion. Visitors will also discover the groundbreaking collaborations between luxury fashion houses and sporting brands, as well as the pivotal role many athletes now play as ambassadors for these prestigious labels.

Information on the exhibition


The Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, proudly partners with the renowned Paris-based Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD) to present the exhibition 'Fashion and Sport – From One Podium to Another’. 


Originally conceived for and showcased at MAD Paris from September 2023 to April 2024, this exhibition was a highlight of the Paris 2024 Cultural Olympiad. The Lausanne edition, co-organized by MAD and the Olympic Museum, promises to be an equally significant cultural event.

Fashion Show – Olympic Museum X Mode Suisse (4 December 2024) 


In a special collaboration, the Olympic Museum will join forces with Mode Suisse to present an exclusive fashion show on December 4, 2024. This event will feature innovative sportswear designs that bridge the worlds of fashion and sports.
